Code Geass fans can anticipate the release of the next installment in the anime series, titled Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture, which is scheduled to debut in Japanese theaters starting May 2024. This highly anticipated show will be divided into four parts, promising an exciting and immersive experience for viewers.

Originally announced as Code Geass: Z of the Recapture in 2020, the upcoming anime Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture will focus on the story of two brothers, Roze (voiced by Kouhei Amasaki) and Ash (voiced by Makoto Furukawa). The talented staff behind the series includes Yoshimitsu Oohashi (known for works like "Kokkoku" and "Witchblade") as the director, Noboru Kimura (credited as the series composer, previously known for works like "Persona5 the Animation" and "Kokkoku") as the scriptwriter, the renowned manga group CLAMP (known for their involvement in the original Code Geass) as the original character designers, and the late Takahiro Kimura (character designer for Code Geass: Akito the Exiled and the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion compilation movie trilogy).

The beloved Code Geass franchise encompasses the original anime series, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, which aired from 2006 to 2007, followed by the second season, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, which premiered in 2008.
