The anime adaptation of Dead Mount Death Play has received a final trailer the day before the premiere of its second season on 9 October.

A teaser trailer and visual for the GEEKTOYS-produced show were released last month, along with the announcement that Ryoukan Satsuma (Sword Art Online: War of Underworld, Sakura Wars the Animation) would direct the new cour (cour 1 director Manabu Ono [Sword Art Online: War of Underworld, Sakura Wars the Animation] has been credited with directorial assistance).

The cast for Dead Mount Death Play includes Yuma Uchida as Takumi Kuruya, Takuya Eguchi as Tsubaki Iwanome, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Kouzaburo Arase, Atsumi Tanezaki as Risa Kuraki, Kazuhiro Yamaji as Rozan Shinoyama, and You Taichi as Sayo Shinohara.

Meanwhile, the staff includes Manabu Ono as Series composer, Hisashi Abe (Kingdom Season 3 and 4) as Character designer, and eba (Skeleton Knight in Another World co-composer) & Kana Utatane (Akebi’s Sailor Uniform) as Music composers.

Dead Mount Death Play is based on the Square Enix-published reverse isekai manga written by Ryohgo Narita and drawn by Shinta Fujimoto, which began serialization in Young Gangan in 2017 and has 11 tankoubon volumes as of April 2023. The first cour premiered in April with Crunchyroll, Ani-One Asia, and Bilibili streaming outside of Japan. Yen Press describes the manga as:
