A new PV trailer has been released for the currently airing Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange TV anime series. The anime began airing on September 30, 2023. The clip introduces the anime's three main characters — Daigo Toake (CV: Junya Enoki), Shun Onoda (CV: Taku Yashiro), Yuki Nakamura (CV: Ayane Sakura) —, and is narrated by veteran voice actor Kenjiro Tsuda (Seto Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh!).

The trailer recaps previous scenes from the past six episodes and showcases some upcoming new scenes as well. It also features the main opening “Anthropos” by Kanjani Eight and the ending “Perfect World” by LMYK. 

Masahiko Murata (To Your Eternity Season 1) is serving as the series’ director, with Shinzou Fujita (To Your Eternity) as series screenwriter, and Hitomi Tsuruta (Futsal Boys!!!!! sub-character designer) and Kouji Yabuno (To Your Eternity) as character designers. Brain’s Base is handling the animation production for the series.

The anime adapts the manga series written by Masahito Soda and illustrated by Kuro Tomiyama, which first ran in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine on October 6, 2020. Eight tankoubon volumes have been released as of October 2023.

The original manga also inspired a 1999 anime film from Sunrise and an 11-episode live-action television drama series that ran on Fuji TV from January 6, 2004 to March 16, 2004.
