KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World! Season 3 has unveiled its second trailer, announcing an April 10 premiere date. The trailer offers a glimpse of new characters Iris, Rain, and Claire.

Additionally, it has been revealed that the opening song for the series will be "Growing Up" performed by Machico, while the ending song will be "Ano Hi no Mama no Bokura" sung by Sora Amamiya, Rie Takahashi, and Ai Kayano, in character.

KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World! is an anime adaptation of the popular isekai comedy light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. The light novel series, consisting of 17 main volumes and three short story anthologies, was published under the KADOKAWA Sneaker Bunko label from 2013 to 2020. Season 3 marks the first time that the mainline KonoSuba anime is being produced by Drive, known for their work on the spin-off adaptation Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! released in 2023.

The first two KonoSuba seasons, which premiered in 2016 and 2017, were produced by Studio Deen. J.C.STAFF produced 2019’s KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World Legend of Crimson movie.

The main cast includes:

• Rie Takahashi as Megumin
• Ai Kayano as Darkness
• Sayuri Yahagi as Claire
• Kanon Takao as Iris
• Reina Ueda as Rain

The anime production team includes chief director Takaomi Kanasaki (director of Season 1, 2, Legend of Crimson), director Yuujiro Abe (Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!), character designer Kouichi Kikuta (returning), and series composer Makoto Uezu (returning).

The dysfunctional party is back, but they may be short a member soon ’cause Kazuma is over it. Disillusioned with adventure, he wants to become a monk, but Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness call bull. However, the career dispute gets put on hold when a princess requests to hear all about their tales. Will the taste of fame at the royal castle keep them together or will this mark their farewell tour? 

The light novels have been adapted into a manga by Masahito Watari, along with several spin-offs. The story initially originated as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2012.
