A new preview video and four new cast members have been revealed for My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me!, an upcoming TV anime based on the comic fantasy isekai light novel series. The series will broadcast in Japan beginning in January 2024, and it will also stream in the United States on HIDIVE.

There are also some new cast announcements, which include:

• Rina Satou as Lain
• Hiro Shimono as Daimon Hanakawa
• Yoshiki Murakami as Yuuki Tachibana
• Lynn as Asaka Takato
• Aggressor (no seiyuu announced)

The light novels have inspired a manga adaptation by Hanamaru Nanto that began in 2018. The story was originally a web novel that began publication on Shousetsuka ni Narou in February 2016.

My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me! is based on the Earth Star Novel light novels written by Tsuyoshi Fujitaka and illustrated by Chisato Naruse, which began in October 2016 and ended with 14 volumes in March 2023. J Novel Club describes the plot as:
