The TV anime adaptation of the golf manga Oi Tonbo! has recently unveiled a new trailer. Additionally, a second trailer has been released, featuring video footage of the lead voice actors providing commentary on their roles.

Oi Tonbo! is set to premiere in April. The story revolves around Kazuyoshi Igarashi, a man who relocates to the Tokara Islands after losing his professional golfer status due to a certain incident. There, he encounters Tonbo, a skilled golfer who regularly plays on the island's handmade courses. Kazuyoshi is captivated by Tonbo's impressive abilities but is curious about her exclusive use of a 3-iron. Unbeknownst to him, Tonbo carries a painful and sorrowful past deep within her heart.

Written by Ken Kawasaki and illustrated by Yuu Furusawa, Oi Tonbo! is a manga published by Golf Digest, with serialization starting in Weekly Golf Digest in 2014. As of December 27, 2023, the series has accumulated 48 tankoubon volumes.
