The highly anticipated YuruYuri spin-off movie, Ohmuro-ke: Dear Sisters, has treated fans to an exciting main trailer and visual. This delightful preview offers a glimpse into the world of the movie, building anticipation for its release. The official announcement revealed that the film is set to hit theaters in Japan on February 2, 2024, marking the beginning of a joyous cinematic experience for YuruYuri enthusiasts.

The trailer includes a preview of the theme song “My Dear SiSTARS!”  by Oogesa ni Ai to Yobunda, which comprises Emiri Katou, Chiwa Saitou, Rina Hidaka, Reo Kurachi, Ayasa Itou, and Aoi Koga as their respective characters.

The beloved Ohmuro sisters made their debut in the original YuruYuri manga series, also created by Namori, back in 2008. Their charming presence has since inspired numerous anime adaptations and OVAs. Building on this success, fans can look forward to the premiere of Ohmuro-ke: Dear Friends in 2024. This exciting spin-off promises to deliver more delightful moments with the Ohmuro sisters, further expanding the YuruYuri universe and bringing joy to fans worldwide.

The manga series Oomuro-ke, created by Namori in 2012, is now receiving an anime adaptation, Oomuro-ke is being directed by Naoyuki Tatsuwa (Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World) at Passione and Studio Lings, with scripts by Masahiro Yokotani (The Devil is a Part-Timer!), character designs by Kazuyuki Ueda (LOVE FLOPS) and music by Yusuke Shirato (In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki).
