A new key visual has been unveiled for the ongoing anime series Pokémon Horizons: The Series, with the third story chapter scheduled to commence on April 12, 2024 in Japan. The series initially premiered in Japan on April 14, 2023 and is currently available for streaming on Netflix in the United States.

The creative team behind Pokémon Horizons: The Series includes Saori Den as the series director, known for their work on the opening storyboard of Pokemon: Kami to Yobareshi Arceus and the 2nd opening of Pokémon Journeys: The Series, with Daiki Tomiyasu serving as the creative director, renowned for their role as the chief director of Pokémon Journeys: The Series. Tetsuo Yajima, the director of Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle and storyboarder/director of episode 15 of Summer Time Rendering, takes on the position of action director. Dai Sato, known for their work on Yurei Deco, is the series screenwriter, while Conisch, the music composer for Pokémon: Hisuian Snow, is responsible for the series' musical score. The animation production is handled by OLM.

In addition, Rei Yamazaki, known for their work as co-Pokémon designer on Pokémon Journeys: The Series, has taken on the role of character designer for the new series. Assisting Yamazaki is Kyoko Ito, the sub-character designer and animation director for Pokémon Journeys: The Series.

Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast includes: 

• Minori Suzuki as Liko
• Yuka Terasaki as Roy
• Taku Yashiro as Friede
• Ikue Ootani as Captain Pikachu

Pokémon Horizons: The Series chronicles the exciting exploits of Liko, a budding Pokémon trainer hailing from the Paldea region, and Roy, who originates from the Kanto region. Accompanied by their trusted companions, Friede and Captain Pikachu, they embark on a thrilling journey across the Pokémon world, unraveling the enigmatic secrets surrounding Liko's pendant and Roy's Poké Ball.
