Pon no Michi will begin airing in Japan in January 2024. The show will revolve around the daily lives of several high school girls in Hiroshima’s Onomichi City who hang out at a former mahjong parlor. The upcoming Pon no Michi original anime has a new character trailer starring Izumi Tokutomi, a friend of the previously previewed Nashiko Jippensha and Pai Kawahigashi who has mahjong experience stemming from family gatherings. Izumi is voiced by Shion Wakayama.

Tatsuma Minamikawa (Fire Force Season 2 director and series composer) as director and scriptwriter. Kenji Oota (Lance N’ Masques) as character designer. Negi Haruba (The Quintessential Quintuplets manga artist) is the original character designer and OLM as the animation production.
