Winter 2024’s Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Walpurgis no Kaiten anime movie has received a new trailer with a 1.1 numbering. This trailer contains less footage than the one from September, but it does end with a new Madoka shot.

The original Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime series aired in 2011 and has received two compilation movies and the 2013 Rebellion sequel movie, in addition to manga, novel, and game adaptations. Walpurgis no Kaiten will take place after Rebellion, which saw magical girl Homura Akemi trapping main heroine Madoka Kanae in a reality of the former’s making. The Magia Record game, which released in Japan in 2017, received its own anime series adaptation, which began with a 2020 first season and ended with a four-episode “final season” in April 2022.

The returning cast includes:
