The Shaman King: Flowers anime has received a 30-second trailer previewing its newly announced opening theme song and a January 9. It will then run on BS TV Tokyo. The opening song is titled “Turn the World” and is performed by Nana Mizuki.

The main voice cast for Shaman King: Flowers includes:

• Sumire Uesaka as Alumi Niumbirch
• Shun Horie as Yohane Asakura
• Michiko Kaiden as Gakko Ibuki
• Romi Park as Tao Men

Takeshi Furuta is returning from the last anime to direct the anime at Bridge. Shoji Yonemura is also back in charge of the series scripts, while Mayuko Yamamoto is replacing Satohiko Sano in designing the characters.

Shaman King: Flowers is based on the Shaman King sequel manga of the same name by Hiroyuki Takei, which ran from 2012 to 2014 in Shueisha’s Jump X before being followed up by the ongoing Shaman King: The Super Star. Kodansha describes the plot as:

The action returns in this brand-new sequel to SHAMAN KING! Hana Asakura finds that being the son of Yoh & Anna Asakura isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, and his boredom has him itching for any kind of excitement. But when a fight comes straight to his doorstep, it’s from a place he least expects—his own family? The battle for Asakura supremacy begins!

The new Shaman King anime premiered in April 2021. Netflix began streaming the anime worldwide in August 2022. The anime ended with 52 episodes.

The anime adapted all 35 volumes of the original manga's new complete edition, which Kodansha started publishing in print volumes in Japan in June 2020. The first anime adaptation of the manga premiered in 2001.
