Renowned voice actress Sumire Uesaka is set to join the cast of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You, lending her talent to the character of Hahari Hanazono, Hakari's wealthy and overbearing mother. Fans were delighted to see Hahari's recent appearance in the anime's ninth episode, which aired on December 3, 2023. Uesaka's inclusion in the cast adds another layer of depth and excitement to the series, as her exceptional voice-acting skills bring Hahari's character to life with nuance and flair.

Uesaka joins a main voice cast that includes:

• Wataru Katou as Rentaro Aijo
• Kaede Hondo as Hakari Hanazono
• Miyu Tomita as Karane Inda
• Maria Naganawa as Shizuka Yoshimoto 
• Asami Seto as Nano Eiai
• Ayaka Asai as Kusuri Yakuzen

The anime series first premiered on October 8, 2023, and is streaming on Crunchyroll outside of Japan. 

Hikaru Satou (Dropkick on My Devil X co-director, Dropkick on My Devil director) is serving as the anime’s director, with Takashi Aoshima (Beast Tamer) as series screenwriter, Akane Yano (The Ryuo’s Work Is Never Done) as character designer, and Bibury Animation Studios as the animation production company. 

Crunchyroll describes the anime’s synopsis as: 

Rentaro Aijo was rejected 100 times in middle school. He visits a shrine and prays for better luck in high school. The God of Love appears and promises that he’ll soon meet 100 people he’s destined to date. But there’s a catch—once destiny introduces someone to him, the two must happily love each other. If they don’t, they’ll die. What will befall Rentaro and his 100 girlfriends in high school?
