A new PV trailer has been unveiled for the highly anticipated TV anime series, Tis Time for "Torture," Princess, set to premiere on January 8, 2024. The trailer offers a glimpse into the captivating world of the show, building excitement among viewers. The trailer provides a captivating preview of the series, introducing viewers to the main characters, notably the titular Princess.
The anime series is helmed by director Youko Kanamori (known for directing and storyboarding episodes 14 and 21 of "Great Pretender"), with series screenwriting by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (known for "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun"). Toshiya Kouno (sub-character designer for "Schwarzesmarken") and Satoshi Furuhashi are the character designers, while Masaru Yokoyama (renowned for his work on "Horimiya") takes charge of the music composition. The animation production is handled by PINE JAM.

The anime adaptation is derived from the comedic manga series created by Robinson Haruhara and illustrated by Hirakei. It made its debut in Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ online magazine on April 4, 2019. As of July 2023, twelve tankoubon volumes have been published, and fans can look forward to the release of the 13th volume on January 4, 2024.
Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess follows a captive princess who is subjected to “torture” by the Hellhorde, who mercilessly tempts her with delicious Japanese food and snacks.
