6. Chapter 6: A Blade for a Heart

The Ashen Order closes in. A masked figure — the Hollow Inquisitor — reveals himself as Daven, Ren's former closest friend, now Malveth's servant. Daven tells Ren a devastating truth: the Scar of Oblivion doesn't just erase memory. It feeds on love. Every moment Ren spends near Eiris, the scar grows stronger — and will eventually consume her soul instead of his memory. Ren must choose: stay with her and destroy her, or leave and survive alone. Daven gives him a blade cursed with severance — one cut and the Covenant bond between Ren and Eiris will shatter permanently.
